WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

meet your lead trainer

Founder of Moksha Movement | Course Creator & Lead Teacher Trainer

Movement has always been a huge part of Emily's life. With a background in dance and a natural curiosity for the human body, she's always been fascinated by how we move, how we feel and the connection between the two.

When Emily discovered yoga, she quickly fell in love with everything it had to offer, not just physically, but mentally, emotionally and philosophically.

Since completing her initial 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, Emily has continued to develop her knowledge through advanced training to 500 hours, alongside specialist qualifications in Yin Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga and massage therapy, including Swedish, Deep Tissue and Pregnancy Massage.

Her passion for understanding the body is matched by her love of yoga philosophy. For Emily, yoga is so much more than the postures we practise. It's about developing awareness, understanding ourselves, questioning our patterns and discovering how we can bring that knowledge into everyday life.

As a studio manager, experienced yoga teacher and co-founder of Moksha Movement, Emily has spent years teaching, supporting and working alongside other yoga teachers. Through this experience, she's developed a real passion for helping teachers build not only their knowledge, but also their confidence, individuality and ability to teach from a place of authenticity.

Emily believes that great teaching isn't about knowing everything or becoming a particular version of what a yoga teacher should be. It's about having strong foundations, remaining curious and developing the confidence to find your own voice.

This belief sits at the heart of Moksha Movement and the philosophy behind the training:

Awareness + Authenticity = Freedom.

A lifelong learner herself, Emily is constantly exploring, questioning and developing her own practice and teaching. Creating this training has given her the opportunity to bring together years of experience, knowledge and a genuine love for sharing what she's learnt.

Her aim is to create a supportive, engaging and inspiring environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, exploring their individuality and growing into confident, knowledgeable and authentic yoga teachers.

Above all, Emily wants every trainee to leave with more than a qualification. She wants them to leave with the foundations, self-belief and freedom to teach as themselves

Meet the Training team

Rob - Anatomy Trainer

Rob is a personal trainer, nutritionist and co-founder of Moksha Movement, with a passion for understanding how the human body and mind work.

With years of experience in the fitness industry, including managing several London gyms for The Gym Group, Rob brings a wealth of knowledge in movement, strength and anatomy.

He completed his 200-hour yoga teacher training in India alongside Emily and is currently studying for a Master's in Psychology, further exploring his fascination with human behaviour and the mind.

Rob loves breaking down anatomy and making it accessible, practical and enjoyable, helping trainees understand not just how the body moves, but why.

Outside of fitness and studying, Rob is a dad, a DJ and one half of Moksha's Disco Yoga duo! He brings curiosity, humour and plenty of energy to everything he does.

Pam - yoga trainer & mentor

Movement has always been a huge part of Pamela's life, from her early years in ballet to over eight years of teaching yoga.

Qualified in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Pamela brings a creative, accessible and adaptable approach to her teaching, encouraging students to explore movement that works for their individual bodies rather than following one set way of practising.

She is passionate about the connection between movement, breath and wellbeing, and believes yoga can help us develop confidence, freedom and a deeper understanding of ourselves.

Alongside teaching, Pamela loves mentoring other yoga teachers, helping them develop their cueing, sequencing, adjustments and confidence in the classroom.

Throughout the training, Pamela will be supporting students with asana, inversions and practical teaching, while offering encouragement and guidance as they develop their own authentic teaching style.

rafie - philosophy trainer

Rafie is a spiritual teacher with a lifelong passion for yoga, meditation and exploring the deeper aspects of the mind and consciousness. His journey began at a young age and has developed through years of personal practice, study and spiritual exploration.

His training includes Bhakti Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and Hatha Vinyasa Krama, alongside Kriya Yoga initiation and time spent studying and practising in ashrams across India.

Rafie's approach brings together different yogic traditions, including Raja, Bhakti, Nada, Laya and Jnana Yoga, helping students explore the deeper philosophy behind their practice.

He currently teaches philosophy on three yoga teacher training programmes and has led hundreds of community meditations, kirtans, song circles and spiritual development classes.

Rafie is passionate about making yoga philosophy accessible, practical and enjoyable, while honouring its traditional roots and ancient teachings.

Through his teaching, he encourages students to stay curious, explore beyond the physical practice and discover how yoga's wisdom can be brought into everyday life.

indra - mantra trainer

Indra has been teaching yoga for over 30 years, with her journey deeply connected to exploring her Indian heritage and developing a greater understanding of yoga's traditional roots.

Her training has taken her across the UK, New York, Chicago and Brazil, studying Integral Yoga, Hatha Yoga and Yoga for the Special Child under the guidance of her teacher, SivaKami (Sonia Sumar).

In 2005, inspired by her Sikh family background and a desire to explore yoga's spiritual traditions more deeply, Indra began her Kundalini Yoga training, despite never having attended a Kundalini class!

Throughout her journey, Indra has developed a particular love for mantra, devotion and the transformational aspects of yoga beyond the physical practice.

She is passionate about sharing the power of sound, vibration and traditional yogic practices, helping students explore mantra in a way that feels accessible, meaningful and connected to its roots.

Indra brings a wealth of experience, authenticity and a genuine love for yoga's spiritual traditions to the training.

With mentoring, ongoing support, and a vibrant community, you’ll be guided throughout the journey and become part of a network of like-minded practitioners.
